The first set of links shows the current Harris County Election Precincts (Precinct Nos. 1-1012) with an overlay of the proposed Harris County Election Precincts (Precincts Nos. 1-1152). If you want to find out what happened with a particular precinct, as that precinct exists today, look at the links contained in the first list.
The second set of links shows the proposed Harris County Election Precincts (Precinct Nos. 1-1152) with an overlay of the current Harris County Election Precincts (Precincts Nos. 1-1012). In the course of implementing the Court’s order from its December 14, 2021 session, a few minor revisions were identified in order to comply with Texas Election Code Section 42.005, which requires that a county election precinct, including a consolidated precinct, not contain territory from more than one of each of the following types of territorial units: (1) a commissioners precinct; (2) a justice precinct; (3) a congressional district; (4) a state representative district; (5) a state senatorial district; or (6) a State Board of Education district.
