Over the years, Families with Pride has grown from an idea into a community tradition, bringing together children, parents, friends, neighbors, allies, community organizations, and local leaders from across the region.
Through arts and crafts, live performances, family-friendly activities, and community resources, the event offers an opportunity for families to enjoy the day, connect with their neighbors, and create lasting memories together.
More than a one-day celebration, Families with Pride reflects an ongoing commitment to building a community where every family feels welcomed, valued, and supported. At its heart, the event is about fostering meaningful connections, celebrating what makes each family unique, and reminding children that there is a place for everyone in Harris County.
This celebration is made possible through the continued partnership and support of the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, Discovery Green, community organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and the many families who help make this event special year after year.
