Harris County Attorney Christian D. Menefee’s Statement on Appointment of Audrie Lawton-Evans for Harris County Civil Court at Law No. 1
Houston, Texas (August 10, 2021) - Harris County Attorney Christian D. Menefee gave the following statement regarding Audrie Lawton-Evans, who today by a vote of Commissioners Court was appointed as the new judge of the Harris County Civil Court at Law No. 1.

“Audrie Lawton-Evans is a well-respected attorney and has been active in civically engaging and advocating for communities across Harris County. She’s a shining example of the great lawyers who come out of Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and I’m confident she’s going to be a dedicated, hard-working judge.”
